The Bath
On Olympus, Hebea drew the bath. Goat milk, honey, oils pressed from olive and coconut, and the scent of whatever grew on the slopes that season: rose, lavender, eucalyptus, lime. The gods came in from the long day and left as if newly made. She brought the recipe down with her.
